Subject: A Heartfelt Update from the Sanctuary ![]()
Hi everyone,
I know I reach out often for support, and I truly appreciate you sticking by us. As an NPO, we are fueled entirely by your kindness. Simply put: we cannot do this without you.
After a very long and busy baby season, our resources are stretched thin. This work is 24/7, 365 days a year—from the 6:00 AM chirping of the birds waiting for breakfast to the quiet releases at dusk. While seeing a Cape White-eye we raised return to the property makes every sleepless night worth it, the journey to get them there is an expensive one.
Our Current Critical Needs:
To keep our gates open and our patients thriving, we are in desperate need of:
Medical Supplies: Restocking our clinic for incoming rescues.
Lucerne & Feed: Vital for our larger residents.
Fresh Produce: Fruit and veggies for our daily patients.
Insect Breeding: Funds to maintain our mealworm/superworm colonies (this saves us money long-term!).
