It’s not about us! It’s about giving these little guys the best chance at survival. Feeding found wild orphans can actually do more harm than good. Here’s why:

Hypothermia: They’re often too cold to digest anything, even water. Their little bodies need all their energy just to survive.

Dehydration: Dehydration makes digestion super tough and can cause serious problems.

Specialized Diets: Think baby formula, but way more specific. The wrong food can be fatal.

Correct Dosage: We have to calculate the exact amount based on their weight and species. It’s a science!

Proper Feeding Techniques: Not all babies can even drink from a bottle! We use special tools to prevent them from choking.

A warm, unfed animal has a much higher chance of survival.

Keep them warm: This is the most important thing!

Do NOT feed them: Resist the urge, it’s for their own good.

Contact a licensed wildlife rehabilitator ASAP: You’ll be giving them the best chance at life!
